About Us

After 30 years in the construction trade I needed to slow down. With this I took a lifelong passion for wood and started Lakeside Wood Crafts in a small shed in 2001. At first I had 10 products, Which has expanded over the years to over 50. In 2003 I made a doll bed for my niece, and was born the doll furniture line.

In 2004 after several request for Oak I have included an "oak Series" of selected oak pieces.

At Lakeside Wood Crafts our Stock and Custom wood pieces are all hand made from Premium Materials in my shop in New York state. I take pride in building a fine product, not just slapping them together on an assembly line. All our pieces are hand cut assembled and finish sanded to 220 grit, one at a time for you so I can deliver a superior product. Our joints are cut, glued and nailed . Not butt fitted.

AS with any wood product there will be small imperfections in the wood. AS long as these are not detrimental to the piece or appearance, I will leave them. AS with Country woodworkers of long ago, these pieces are simple and strong. Built to be used in everyday life, for a lifetime.
